The Story of Renato Corino Estate
In 2005, after 20 years of working together, the Corino brothers decided to split their father’s estate. That year marked the beginning of the Azienda Agricola Renato Corino, a new winery situated in the heart of the Arborina cru vineyard of Barolo.
Driven by passion and enthusiasm, Renato dedicates himself to his land and wine making tradition. The management of the winery and vineyards is completely in the hands of Renato, supported by his children, Stefano and Chiara.
Renato Corino maintains holdings in the following cru in the La Morra commune of Barolo: Arborina, Rocche dell’Annunziata, Conca and Roncaglie. The four Barolos produced by the winery are Barolo del Comune di La Morra, Barolo Arborina, and Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata. The last, Barolo Riserva is comprised of a special selection of 50 year old Nebbiolo vines from the Rocche vineyard.
Other wines produced include Dolcetto d’Alba, Nebbiolo d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, and Barbera Pozzo. The prized vineyard called Pozzo, planted in the 1950’s, is also located in the La Morra commune.
Renato Corino owns eight hectares of vineyards and produces approximately 50,000 bottles per year.
